just what I needed

Though my class required the 10th edition, this 9th edition has all that I need.

Society the Basics

I bought this as a text book for college. I am half way done with the book, but it can say with confidence it is a very well written book. A lot of pictures as well which does a good job of balancing out the text of the book. This is a must have for anyone studying Sociology

Easy Edition

At the end of every chapter their is a "study guide". It actually helps cover major points and makes learning the material easier.

study time

This was an earlier edition of the book we are using but the material is similar and can still be used to assist with studies. Arrived on time and in great condition.

A Wonderful Introduction

I found this book to be very interesting and learned quite a bit from it. I bought it last semester for a sociology course I took. Because my professor was also the dean of that department - it amplified the learning experience I got out of the book. Each chapter also starts out with a little snippet of a story that relates to the theme of the chapter. I very much enjoyed the course and the learning experience gained out of the book.
