i'm starting a new chapter, building new relationships, and have a totally different view on life than i did before. i'm doing the things i've dreamt of doing since childhood, and i'm learning what it really means to get to know myself. i'm learning to enjoy today instead of thinking about next year. i'm learning what it means to love yourself. i'm learning what it means to love others, and this book is an active part of me learning all of those things. this book is a reflection of my thoughts over the course of this new beginning through poetry. signed, jaila jahni
