"So That's Who You Used to Be!" is 169 pages of creative approaches and extremely useful ideas for reunion planning. The contents apply to school or class reunions as well as to family reunions, but I have even found it useful in genealogical research. I especially like the ideas on how to find people and how to get the post office to help. The author takes you through the process of planning from beginning to end and offers so many helpful tools -- to name a few: form letters/cards to send out, sample letters that will get responses from people for more information, postal forms and rates, ways to make your own cards instead of buying them, suggestions for making yearbooks, even recipes and menus for the actual reunion. The author tells you when to get started on your planning and what to do if you are late in starting. There are many, many more ideas and all are useful. Since the index is cross referenced it also became an extra tool for me in looking for ideas and topics. The author misses nothing, and the book is clear and easy to follow. I've used it for three annual grade-school reunions and our recent high school reunion in 1998. Without it we could not have succeeded in getting the reunion turnouts that we had. The book has been a wonderful help to me. It is indispensable and it can be used over and over again for new ideas!
