Fabulous Book !!!

I love this book, it gives you not only stitching idea's but has alot of really nice projets to make. It comes highly recommended by women who I crochet with, and its one of the best books for learning new techniques! Love this book.

Fashion sense

There is stuff in here I would wear and I am a picky one. I would make more of them if I were not a full figured woman. There are some really cute scarfs and a poncho that I will make and wear. I normally don't like ponchos period, but this one is cute and different. Some really nice jacket sweaters that I want to try and I think may even fit me. Melody has some fashion sense and these are garments that will not collect dust in your closet, some flash as well as some practical additions to your wardrobe.

interesting designs

I like the designs in this book. Unfortunately, only experienced crocheters should buy the book. I made the lacy sweater cardigan. It was going really well until one line of directions made no sense at all. Luckily I was able to create directions for that line and go forward. The cardigan turned out fine. This book would also be OK if you had support from a yarn store to help rewrite a few lines of directions. I would buy this book again.

Several unique and trendy patterns. I've already made several items from this book. This one is worth the money you spend for it!!!!

EXTRAORDINARY!!!!

Don't let the title fool you. The stitches may be simple but the designs are out of this world! Melody Griffiths use of motifs, in a join-as-you-go style, create the most beautiful ponchos, vests, cardigans and scarves. A number of patterns feature big gauge yarns, big hooks and lacy stitches; that means you'll have a designer accessory to wear the next day. I am totally in love with the Gold Circle Vest. It's made with Lurex. I declare that if you make and wear this, you'll get a rich boyfriend! There's also a Spangle Tank Top that is just spectacular! You'll also find belts, hats, coats, a caplet, a shrug, a sweater, a cowl, a long pointy waistcoat, jacket, boa and a wrap. In all, there are 24 patterns and not one of them is a dud. I love this book!!!!!!
