Complex Characters, Over a 20 year time span

I received this book for being a top customer for my local indie bookstore. I read most of the book during a day of rest from not feeling well. The characters are very complex. I enjoyed reading about the different time periods of their lives. Some were more likable than others. There is a lot of issues in this book, from alcoholism, to severe anxiety, to low self esteem, to the enabler, to a wide range of other things. I felt confused about some of the characters because I didn’t remember who they were. David? But I enjoyed the reading overall. It had me thinking about the many people I have met in my lifetime that I no longer communicate with or know. I would recommend this read.
