Death is an enigma, an assault on the very essence of life and time as we know it-an enemy not influenced or swayed by age, social status, creed or ethnicity.

Life has a beginning and an ending.
Somewhere between these pauses lies our length of days.

Imagine, if you will the hands of a clock as they tick away the minutes of the hour.
Although you could interrupt their movement with your fingers, in real life, time is not as easily affected by our actions or inaction.

In November of 2017, David Cassidy left this earth.
When I heard that, it caused me to embrace even more the years, months, weeks and days that I have left on this earth.

I still remember his final words to his daughter Katie, 'So Much Wasted Time'.

Those four simple, yet powerful words should stop us dead in our tracks!

Sticking your head in the sand and hoping that this event [death] will somehow skip us is simply a fool's hope-we will all have an appointment.

I firmly believe that it is not the events in life that define us, but our actions.
Time, can be your greatest foe or your worst nemesis.

Life can be summed up as a momentary speck between the blips of time.
You breathe in and then breathe out.
You than can only stare as your last breath rises upwards and then disappears.
