So Many Miracles is quite simply the most beautiful love story. It's about two young people fighting family tradition to be together, not realizing that their biggest challanges lay ahead as they try desparately to survive and help their family survive the holocaust. Reading this tale of tragedy makes one marvel at just how many miracles there really were to keep this couple alive. The scariest part of all is that this book was non-fiction. It will break your heart and it will astound you as to how two people who survived so much horror could still be filled with so much hope and love and kindness. Frania and Israel Rubinek were the two bravest people I will ever know, and I feel honoured that they allowed me into their lives by way of this book.
