George Snyder, born 1823 in Dauphin county, Pennsylvania, died 1903 in Kalamazoo county, Michigan. He married Elizabeth Hoover, born 1824 in Dauphin county, Pennsylvania, died 1896 in Kalamazoo county, Michigan.They moved to Monroe county, Michigan in 1854, and relocated to Kalamazoo county, Michigan in 1866. They had fourteen children, twelve survived to adulthood.Their children held annual family reunions and kept meticulous records. This book contains the Snyder-Hoover family reunion records for the years 1915 through 1930, mostly occuring in mid-Michigan.
