The holidays for Hermosa Payne are always bittersweet; considering it's the only time she's around her family. Regardless of the long ride from Memphis to New Orleans with her rambunctious brother and six year old daughter, she's destined to see the holidays through. That's until she's suddenly blindsided with nonsense from her deadbeat father, incarcerated baby daddy, and other dysfunctional family issues.
