The Williamsville Inn wasn't exactly Will Johnson's idea of a dream destination for his pre-Christmas work trip to upstate New York. A drafty hotel room, a lonely buffet breakfast, a flight home on December 24th, that was the plan.
He definitely didn't expect his window to overlook the private patio of Rex Garland, his favorite up-and-coming gay singer, who is holed up at the same hotel trying, and failing, to write an original Christmas song.
When inspiration strikes, Will makes a decision he can't take back: a secret note, slipped onto Rex's patio table under cover of darkness, weighted down by a stone, and signed with nothing but A Longtime Fan. It's anonymous. It's innocent. Rex will never know who wrote it.
But one note leads to another, and before long a tiny snowman holding an envelope is about to change everything.
