As more melts, the albedo of Earth changes, and the melting becomes even more rapid.It will not nor shall it ever be an issue of how high the water gets. It is an issue that the Global AMOC Thermohaline System will be pushed to lower, colder, regions, and shut the Thermohaline System down on a global scale. The first sign will be that the cold Arctic air will be at high pressure and push deep into the south, below the 45th parallel. This will make it seem like it is not a 'global warming.' The following phase is where the heated currents below the 45th parallel fail to make it north. This is the onset of Chaos.You are accustomed to hearing arguments based on air temperatures, hoaxes and so on. In Climate Science we monitor ice. Together, the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets contain more than 99 percent of the freshwater ice on Earth. The Arctic has lost 40% of its year round ice. The Antarctic, which represents 91% of the Earth's ice, has lost 20% of its ice. Where 50% of Greenland normally experiences a quick melt and refreeze, in July 2012 97% of Greenland experienced a long term thaw. The sum Greenland loss is approximately 30%. The global total sum current loss of permanent ice is now approximately 50% between Antarctica and Greenland of the 99% global scale and irreversible.During the Marinoan Epoch 650 million years ago, the Earth froze over like Europa, miles thick in ice, bringing about one of six mass extinction events in this planet's history. That event was called Snowball Earth. Existing climate models predict the same event to within 99 percentile certainty. It is urban myth, actually an industrial lie, that industrial CO2 is causing the greenhouse effect that is causing Global Warming. Animal Agriculture is responsible for 99% of the cause of Global Warming from Nitrous Oxide and Methane, and the 100,000 square miles of Ocean Dead Zones (Lifeless Oceans), and the stripping of 1 acre per second of Rainforests. The oceans will be lifeless, and the rainforests completely gone in less than a century. This data comes directly from the UN and is presented here in this text from talks given at the Department of the Interior and DOD, among others. The time frame for human extinction is less than 200 years, according to the United Nations data. All of the relevant data with the current scientific references in support of the United Nations effort is described and detailed in this brief text.The text isn't conspiracy or alarmist, it is simply unpadded completed data that has been collected and evaluated over the past 20 years, presented, and explained in lay terminology. I first presented this model (based on a Chaotic Fractal) to the department of the Interior in 1987.The planet's thermohaline system of currents, which includes the Gulf Stream, for example, carries warm currents on the surface to Europe, then sinks thousands of meters and takes several decades to reach its point of origin back in the Gulf. Salt water is denser than fresh water. The addition of fresh water causes the warm current to sink below the cool fresh water, shutting the Gulf Stream, along with all of the thermohaline systems, down. At first, the ice melt causes a dramatic shift in albedo (reflectivity) causing temperatures to rise to any level, then the shutdown of the thermohaline system causes the planet to freeze over under miles thick in ice. This has happened before, it is happening again. Before the cause was volcanic, today the cause is us. The decades it takes for the thermohaline system to circulate is why the amateurs ignorant of planet climate modeling measure air temperatures and cry hoax.All money goes to the ASPCA and local animal shelters.
