Snow Chasers

I found this book very entertaining. Mrs. Reid wrote in such a way that boys and girls interested in adventure would find Snow Chasers not only easy to read but also contained a highly intrigueing plot. I, myself, was so interested that I couldn't put the book down. It was rather intense at times and I was wondering what else can happen in this adventure that these teenagers were on. I'm looking forward to a sequel to this book.

Snow Chasers Review

I thought this book was an inspirational book for young Christian readers. It shows God at work in the lives of people. I liked the story line of two young people and their journey of faith to save themselves and others from a flooding river. I like how they face and succeed in the challenge of sharing the good news of Jesus.

Refreshing and Inspiring!

Charlotte Reid has written a captivating little tale of Ekio, a young Spirit Keeper who searches for meaning in her world which is threatened by destruction. She is a young Christian from another time and place. Ms. Reid's story contains many metaphors for teaching the importance of and knowing the ways of the Spirit and passing those stories on from generation to generation - thus, Ekio, is a Spirit Keeper - one who keeps the Spirit alive through generations. Young adults can relate to and align with the morals of the protagonist Ekio, and reach for and apply these same understandings in their own worlds of today. Ms. Reid's style of writing flows easily from chapter to chapter as Ekio encounters hardship, overcomes it, and makes important alliances in her journey of understanding how the Spirit influences and provides the cohesiveness needed for a culture to survive - great metaphors for young adults.
