There was nothing Sissy Williams wanted more during her junior year than to be on the Valley View High School's cheerleading team, the most prestigious high school team in the country.

But Sissy had a less-than-impressive tryout, and the team's cheerleading captain, Ginelle Bays, and co-captain, Angelique Scott, aren't short of words about it. Because if they had it their way, Sissy would not be on the team at all.

Ginelle and Angelique aren't exactly the model type everyone believes them to be and have more personal problems than people imagine. And when everything gets unbearable with them, they have a sinister plan with close friends and teammates Chelsea Strickland and Leila Moore that only the four of them know about . . . and now they want a fifth in the plan.

And they know exactly who to target.

Sissy does not realize what she gets herself into when she says she will do anything when it comes to staying on the team, and wanting to show that she had the most team loyalty was the utmost important to her.

But even loyalty has its limits . . .

When this plan is carried out, it suddenly spirals out of control that absolutely no one is prepared for and will have dire consequences.
