Two boys' review: Reinforce hand washing and good hygiene

I've got two young boys, ages 6 and 4. Hand washing and good hygiene are necessary to keep colds and other unpleasant things away from our house. This DK Readers book provides a great introduction into good hygiene vocabulary like germs, mucus and lungs. Here's an excerpt of the advice: "Remember to cover your mouth with your hand when you cough to stop the germs from spreading to someone else." I recommend buying this book along with Micro Monsters: Life Under the Microscope, which gives kids a close-up look at the little bugs. In summary, we pull these books out periodically to remind our kids why good hygiene is so important. Their use of soap and hand sanitizer has increased dramatically as a result.
