These Sneak-a-Peeks provide new readers with practise in learning new sounds and blending them to make words. They also provide practise with spelling and decoding words that contain the sounds learned in Series 1 and 2 of Sounds make Words make Stories. They are particularly good for readers who may be put off by high-frequency sight words, as they only contain 'the'. This allows the reader to completely focus on sounding out.
