Daniel has always believed love is something you earn - a starting spot, a good stat line, a proud look from his father. A week volunteering at Vacation Bible School throws him into the path of a scared seven-year-old who's already learned the same painful lie, and Daniel finds himself handing a truth to a child that he's never once let himself believe: you don't have to be perfect to be worth loving.
One play. Two callings. Something has to give - and what breaks might finally be the lie he's been carrying his whole life.
