No church is immune from some well-meaning, overbearing, misguided Christians. Unfortunately, many churches have those who may or may not realize that they cause strained and toxic relationships, wreaking havoc on the Church leaders and the congregation. Then there are those in management, volunteers, staff, and congregation with motives designed to cause destruction and division within the church. Pastors and church management have a nearly impossible job in the best of circumstances, and these individuals push them to their limits. Snakes in the Sanctuary attempts to show clergy, laypersons, and the church community some of their church's issues and gives a heads-up for what to look for. All the information has been collected from conversations with pastors and folks strongly associated with the different churches while trying to cure battle scars and injuries received while attempting to preach the gospel. This book is intended to assist individuals at all levels in facing many complex and challenging circumstances and avoiding burnout and disappointment.
