Grabs Even Non-Readers

As a librarian trying to get non-readers' attention, I often took this book to schools for booktalking. It has great info about snakes and the photos really grabbed the kids' attention. They loved the snake who swallowed a goat and also the page (p. 18) where a snake was eating another snake. This was always a hit with 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.
