Smugglers in the Dark

The US Coast Guard, supported up by the US Navy, wanted another weapon to use in the war on drugs. They asked Major Greg Mordant, US Army, to fly his Sniperbird RPV in support of USCG guardsmen on intercepts in the Intercoastal Waterway, where there had been an escalation of weapons on recent intercepts of Latino invaders.

Greg was willing to do this, but worried at the implications of using an rifle-armed drone within US territorial waters.
