Smokie are a rock group formed in 1964, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, UK that became famous after teaming up with Mike Chapman & Nicky Chinn. They've had several line-up changes but were still touring during 2018. Their biggest selling single, Living Next Door to Alice, made UK No. 3 then in March 1977, rose to US No. 25 before topping the Australian singles chart. Smokie's other hit singles include If You Think You Know How to Love Me, Oh Carol, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone and I'll Meet You at Midnight.
