Battle for the fate of the American colonies during the Revolutionary War period, using armies appropriate to the time with an option to include mythical forces.

Contains 91 pages of rules to battle with mid-to-large-size groups of miniature soldiers in a pseudo-historical setting using CLAWS, the Chess-Like Adaptive Wargaming System.

Using the same processes established in the Core Ruleset, SMOKE OVER THE COLONIES allows you to fully customize soldiers through period-specific Races, Classes, Protections, and Attacks. SMOKE OVER THE COLONIES also has Faction-specific Force creation rules, NAME generators, and a variety of randomizer tables to better/more easily organize and represent Forces, as well as rosters of ready/pre-made soldier Stat Blocks for each Faction.

Requires CLAWS Core Ruleset, available for free online and/or for physical purchase.

Forces created using this system are compatible against all other Forces created through CLAWS, including the Core Ruleset and other Modules such as FIFTEEN LORDS WARS.
