In the first, I wrote about perseverance and the sparks that lead us inward.
In the second, I explored transformation-standing in the uncertain "middle place."
Now, with Smoke over Satin, I turn to the aftermath of change.
What remains once the fire has passed?
What do we see when we look back, and what wisdom do we carry forward?
These poems reflect the marks of survival and the beauty of reinvention.
