Action and intrigue at its best

The third book of the "Smoke" Trilogy. You don't have to have read the other 2 to enjoy this book. Charles Dance, ex-London Gangster, awakens in hospital the day after his birthday party to find that his wife has been killed and his illegally accumulated fortune has been stolen. In an effort to seek revenge and win back his fortune Dance takes on and plays off against each other Mediterranean gun runners, Mexican drug dealers, the Mafia and the London Mob. Fast paced and cleverly written, light but enjoyable reading.
