Tone up your sense of humor with Smirk

If you don't have a sense of humor, this book will give it to you. If you already have a sense of humor, this book will tone it up. (Readers of Smirk, Vol. 1 will know what I mean.) There are ten categories in Smirk II, covering every area of life which can generate smiles: food, jobs, media, pets, etc. You'll discover funny insights into experiences we take for granted and therefore never really think about. "Why does pizza taste better after midnight?" And: "If you haven't got all the things you want, be grateful for things you don't have that you don't want." Some of our familiar thoughts are expressed creatively in many of Franz's "smirkisms." For instance: "A pet is the only real love money can buy." And "Never insult an alligator until you have crossed the river." Some smirkisms may even touch home, as this one did for me: "Many people have eaten her cooking and gone on to lead normal lives." Dip into Smirk during a lunch break and return to your desk relaxed and refreshed. Lighten your daily e-mail by adding a smirkism to it, such as "He was so angry with his neighbor that he bought his son a set of drums."
