Great textbook, poor quality copy

This is a textbook, but the copy I got had many pages with the answers written in with pen and crayon by a child. Unfortunately, my son won't be able to use the copy we got because of this. It would be one thing if notes were written in on the margins, but having the answers pre-written is unacceptable for a curriculum textbook as it makes it unusable. This copy should never have been resold. It should have been recycled.
