Great for getting an overview of places you may want to visit

As a non-Slovak American who lived in Slovakia, I often wanted to make short trips around the country but wasn't sure what I would find worth my while. This book proved to be useful in that descriptions of towns or cities are only a few pages, provides general information such as population and topography, and has lots of pictures, of course. History is also included, which was important to me. Places of interest and general highlights are also mentioned. If you are planning a trip to Slovakia and may be interested in making trips around your destination points, this book would be helpful.
