Slipping in the Church is an addition to my first book, Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, but I kept hearing, what happened? I had this notion that everything would be peaches and cream once I accepted Christ-Not I will take you on my journey of many struggles I continued to deal with while going to church, trying to figure out how to maneuver as a born-again believer, while still trying to hold onto the things of the world. Some things I was instantly freed from; some behaviors took years to overcome, such as smoking, drinking, the abortions, amongst other things, while still hanging on to the Word of God, which I had sown into my life from what I had learned.
