A real page turner!

Excellent book, it really surprised me! It was referred to me by a friend and I'm going to tell everyone I know about it. It's such an exciting read, but it's also very deep. As I started reading it was okay, but as I kept going, it got more exciting and more exciting---I couldn't put it down. I stayed up all night finishing it--and it was well worth it. I can't wait for book two! My favorite charactor was Amanda, she was so brave and loyal. This is an excellent book. There is a lot to it, with many underlying lessons and morals. I think it will really impact kids in a positive way. This is the best book I've read all year! Never heard of the author, but I'm going to be watching for more.
