Fresh Telling of a Familiar Story

My 12 yr old son enjoyed this book. He was already familiar with the 1925 diptheria crisis in Nome, Alaska, thanks to the Balto movie. Even so, he appreciated this telling, with it's variety of perspectives, engaging dialogue and interesting characters.
