The heavy bars encased a beautiful, frightened young woman, the newest Luna captive, Katlen. The Pack was jeering at her, yelling in explicit detail what she had to look forward to. We had all been in her place; it was always the same. If the Luna did not surrender, the men would slaughter every last man, woman and child in the Pack. Katlen knew her fate as soon as Alpha Benjamin attacked. She was naked, collared and helpless. His men opened the cage and pulled her out. Her face showed no emotion, she didn't resist, she really didn't want to survive this. She wouldn't be so lucky.
