Geri Halton is a at a crossroads. A pretty, but not 'model pretty', smart, and witty woman has not lived up to her potential and is working in a dead end job at a seniors' residence. Will she be able to determine what is real and what is imagined? Will she and Ryan fall in love on TV? The book at once sends up and satirizes reality TV, and at the same time, uses the tricks and hooks of the genre to capture the reader.
