Six Months to Live

Mykel and Jackie's world is turned upside down upon hearing that their six-month-old daughter (Janessa) would die within six months if she doesn't have open-heart surgery due to a congenital heart disorder that she is diagnosed with. Leaving the hospital lost for words, all Mykel could think about was how they would come up with $100,000 to pay for the surgery in order to give their daughter a fighting chance at life.

While stopped at an intersection the most bizarre thing happens. An armored truck comes crashing over an overpass and comes to a stop just a few feet away. Instantly Mykel sees an opportunity to come up with the money and doesn't waste any time. With his mind on one thing and one thing only, he exits his vehicle and sets out on a mission. A mission that he would find out later will only make matters worse. Little does he know that Channel 7 news reporter Amber Davis is nearby recording everything from her cell phone camera. And not only does Amber's video lead a dirty and corrupt detective on Mykel's trail, but it will also make things difficult for him to be by his dying daughter's bedside.
