A Valuable Resource

There aren't very many books out there dealing with the subject of in-laws, so I was very pleased to find this one. Ms. Wasserman Cocola provides an insightful and sensitive discussion about in-laws and practical strategies on how to manage their involvement in your life. One of the strategies I found most useful was the "We" strategy. If you and your spouse are a united front, you have more strength and security, and ultimately less conflict, than if you are struggling with each other and being pulled in different directions by your parents. A very helpful book. Now if I can only get my husband to read it!
