Great Book

All of these books are very fun for your family to have, we have Mommies, Daddies, Brothers and Sisters.

Great book for big brother or big sister to be

I like that this book shows different sibling depictions. Some are of a brother and a sister and others are of two sisters. So it's great for any big brother or big sister to be! I also really liked that the activities that the siblings are not stereotypically "girl" activities. The kids are shown playing hide and seek, singing songs in the car, sharing snacks, and of course building sandcastles. The lift-the-flap feature is a nice plus, too. One note I would make: If you are a no t.v. household, this may not appeal to you, as there is one pic of the kids watching t.v. together (and sharing their popcorn).

Great book for a big sister gift!

I've bought both this book and the one about brothers are gifts for my daughter's friends who have become big sisters/brothers. My daughter loves the flaps and it's easy for her to "read" along. The illustrations are interesting and the book tries to include all different scenarios that a sibling could encounter (big sister/little brother, big sister/little sister, etc.)
