Her intensely personal stories remind us that theses women are related to us; they are family; they are our own. They are also gifted, visionary. Through them we learn something about ourselves and God. The reflections have doors wide open for personal involvement and response. Sleevi's artwork, rendered in very contemporary "Hard Edge" form, uses vivid colors and stark simplicity to create bold images that tell stories of our faith through nearly forgotten tradition of sacred art.
