This is the best book I have ever read. Anyone that is interested in pledging a sorority or even a fraternity should read Breggie James "Sister Secrets." I was captured by the books essence. A particular character "Jennifer Stevens" captured my heart. Jennifer reminded me so much of myself. Jennifer was so shy, quiet, innocent, and pretty. After joining the sorority of her interest she quickly changed. She became a leader, outspoken, and most of all she blossomed into a women. Something I hope I will get out of joining the sorority of my interest. Like I said before, if your interested in joining a sorority. This is the book for you. Why? Because, it will truly intrigue you.
Awesome first book

I thoroughly enjoyed this account of sorority life, the connections of the sisters & the symbolism that this writer used in her debut novel. For a first book, I feel Breggie did an excellent job....I have also read the sequel, "Beyond Our Mother's Footsteps" and she did an even better job with the relationships of the mothers.Great Job Breggie, keep writing...I can't wait for your next one.
A Twisted Tale

I could not put this book down. It was excellent. There were twists and turns to the story in every chapter. Although I loved the book, I often had to go back a few pages or even chapters to get the characters and events straight. Overall, this is a must read.
EXCELLENT!

This was a must read! Once I got started I couldn't put it down. All of the characters (and there were many) had intriguing storylines. One suggestion though, I think the author should have used actual Greek organizations. With so many fraternities and sororities in one book, you almost have to take notes to remember who's who. But overall this was an excellent book, I can't wait to read the next one.
brilliantly written, informative, and interesting

This book was directed towards the college student. The way it was written it gave anyone looking toward Greek Organizations a sense of what to expect. Ever since I read the book it peaked my interest even more about Greek letter organizations.
