Sir, That's a Book of Mormon!

By Lynn Ridenhour

Dr. Lynn Ridenhour grew up in the heart of Missouri, enrolled as a ministerial student at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, to study for the ministry. Lynn has been an ordained Charismatic Southern Baptist minister for over fifty years. He holds a master's degree in creative writing and a PhD in literature from the University of Iowa, he has taught in both secular and Christian colleges.

Every chance he gets he uses it to preach out of the Book of Mormon along with the Bible.

"Since they were inspired by the same source, there is no contradiction," he says.

This book is his story.

Brother Lynn was the founder and president of Building Bridges Conferences, an organization dedicated to bringing together reformation and Restoration Christians as well as uniting Book of Mormon believers from various restoration groups, including the Latter-day Saint, Community of Christ, Restoration Branches, Remnant, Temple Lot, and Bickertonite churches.

"My firm belief is that Bible-believing Christians and Book of Mormon Christians have far more in common than all our differences," says author Lynn Ridenhour.

Praise for the book

Dr. Ridenhour's book just made sharing the Restoration story with our gang that much easier. Bottom line-if you're Protestant, Pentecostal, Catholic, or a Book of Mormon believer, it matters not-you're going to love this book
-Paul Richardson Pentecostal Minister, Richmond, VA

Being willing to learn from others is Dr. Ridenhour's secret for building unity in diverse Christian communities. Because he knows the Redeemer, he can identify truths about Him from other sources, including the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. Lynn Ridenhour models how his faith in Christ has become even more vibrant and authentic because he is not afraid to love others, including Mormons, just as Jesus loves him.
