Lots of fun!

I saw this book at a gift shop and, amused at the title, said outloud, "My son would probably love this book!" The shopowner said, "It is actually a really fun book." So, I bought it. My son could have read it himself, but after reading a few pages decided I'd rather read it to him. I'm still chuckling every time I think of it. It was a great distraction from the more serious aspects of life and I wouldn't trade the pleasure of hearing my son belly-laugh for anything! Thanks, Kevin!

Great bedtime story...a truly epic tale

Although I'm 21 years old I enjoy a good laugh every once in a while with what seems to be a children's novella. Sir Fartsalot Hunts The Booger is an epic tale of a prince named Harry (a real prankster) who is forced by his father to go with Sir Fartsalot on a journey on a beast so foul no one dares mention it's name... [whispers] the Booger. On their journey they run into many obstacles of imaginary proportions. It's a cute book and reads a lot like Diary of a Wimpy Kid. There is a picture every few pages or so and the book is a little over 200 pages, but children fear not - it reads quickly. This book is very humorous both in it's content and it's language, any kid or adult can enjoy this novella and I'd reccommend it to anyone as a bedtime story. You've got to pick this book up!

Sir Fartsalot Cuts the Cheese!

My 8 year old boy and I really enjoyed reading this book together. He laughed the whole way through. It is a good, funny, exciting adventure. If your child likes Shrek, this is a book for him!

Sir Fartsalot Hunts the Booger

First thing I'll have to admit is the title had me nervous. After the first few pages my fears were put to rest. I haven't enjoyed reading a book with my daughter this much since the first Harry Potter book was released. This is an marvelously original book full of fabulous adventures. I'm sure it will attract the attention of children of all ages!

SIR FARTSALOT HUNTS THE BOOGER. I've admitted before that I'm a sucker for a catchy title, and really, can a title get more catchy than that?! Young Prince Harry of Armpit (get it?) has finally worked his father's last nerve. Now, he's been ordered to accompany a noble knight named Sir Fartsalot on a quest to find the source of the Foul West Wind, which mysteriously and frequently emits omens not long after Sir Fartsalot has finished a meal of turnips. Since he must tag along, the prankster, Prince Harry, successfully convinces Sir Fartsalot he must track the latest and greatest threat to the Kingdom of Armpit -- the evil Booger. Yes, I know, groans all around. But, just wait, there is a saving grace. The writing. Debut novelist Kevin Bolger plays with words the way his fabulous main character plays pranks -- brilliantly! Bolger convinces the reader to turn just one more page. To find out what happens in the castle full of maiden princesses on the prowl, what happens in the Enchanted Forest, and how Harry of Armpit will get himself out of the mess he's created. Every pun has a meaning and every meaning has a purpose in this fantastic chapter book that's fun for all ages. Reviewed by: Julie M. Prince
