Alice Rose comes home from school to find her mom and dad stabbed to death and her sister Amy passed out in a closet. She and her older brother Andrew rush to the hospital to be by Amy's side, and they learn she's now intellectually challenged because of being strangled. A lady from Child Protective Services shows up and tries to tear the siblings apart but Alice, Andrew, and Amy escape and run away. They meet a woman named Rachel Pfister who claims she's their long-lost aunt and their dead mom's twin sister. She tells them they are the grandchildren of Krane Pfister, an eccentric and wealthy music mogul of the 70s and 80s. They go to live in his gothic manor called Pfister Manor. Alice feels something isn't right there, but Andrew admires their grandfather and wants to be his protege, and Amy grows close to the family's cook. There's handsome Detective O'Rourke who is trying to solve their parent's murder, but the trail goes cold. And what's the story with Krane's "wellness center" that seems more like a cult? Strange events begin to occur, and mysteries become more and more twisted. Dark family secrets are revealed and Pfister Mnor turns into a house of horrors.
