If you are completely lost with Calculus (as I was) then this book is real help. You don't need to spend a bunch of time with a tutor or at the math lab to form some basic understandings of the material. It helped me to be much more self-sufficient so I could get answers to the easy questions myself. Some of the problems arrive at incorrect results, but those are few and far between. I think this is a valuable supplement to the textbook, they really helped me get through the courses. Then again, you could search the Internet for "Wolfram Alpha" and find a computational engine that provides you all the same answers. You just need the Internet for it.
