This book: Single Economic Regime in the Andean Community of Nations, analyzes the possibilities of achieving the economic integration of member countries as a means to enhance the development of Latin American countries. With a comparative approach, it reflects on the constitutional texts of the Andean Community of Nations and recommends that measures should be taken to really achieve economic integration in Latin America, which is possible if we take into account that European countries have managed to integrate very effectively, despite the fact that its most conspicuous members, France and Germany, have fought two world wars. The European community has managed to establish a common market, an internal market, free movement of capital, goods and workers, common legal standards, monetary policies, customs cooperation, consumer protection, research and technological development, among others. It concludes by suggesting measures to be adopted by national governments to achieve a true and effective economic integration that really allows the development of their countries.
