I'm Single and I Loved It

Who are we fooling? For the most part, if you're single then you want to mingle with the potential mate -- you want to date. Kate McVeigh delivers practical, Biblical direction for the single Christian who is believing God for a like-minded mate. Her emphasis is more on having patience and not jumping out of the boat just to beat loneliness. She is clear about what the Bible does have to say about dating while you're waiting and I appreciated her candidness in her own life. She tackles the issues that would otherwise be overlooked or ignored by today's culture and addresses the temptations that come to us all. If you're happy being single already, you don't need to read this book. If you're getting impatient, this book is one you can read through to remind you God really does have a great plan -- and a great man (or woman) -- for you. Until then, this book will serve you well.

Okay but not the greatest

The book is not a heavy read and is very practical. It talks very frankly on fornication but guides and teaches on how to stay strong, how to be successful in singlehood by being cautious of what you watch, setting boundaries and how to maintain chasity and joy despite being solo. It also gives you insight on if you desire marriage what would be expected of you from your mate and how to prepare yourself financially, spiritually and physically.

Single and Definitely Loving It!!

Single and Loving it, is by far the best book I've read on being a single christian. Kate Mcveigh is a wonderful speaker as well as a writer, who takes everyday trials that singles face and intertwine it with the word of God. I heard Ms. McVeigh speak at the Single's Conference in Atlanta, and was moved by her words. This book will teach you how to live your life to the fullest, while being single. It also shows you how wait on God for that special person he has in store for you.Ladies, when you read this book, believe in God for a mate!! He will definitely provide. Thank you so much Kate McVeigh for this wonderful word from God!!!
