Ten year old boy Chasi born in the capital of Zimbabwe, loses his mother (a music icon) in a car accident. His mother's older sister aunt Ru also loses her husband in the same accident. Chasi is left in the care of aunt Ru when his father leaves him a few days after the funeral. Grief-stricken, Chasi and aunt Ru move to an elite and friendly neighbourhood in a small town. Through his life, Chasi gets to know more about his late musician mother and his father through different circumstances.
