It's a start despite the mistakes

Especially for a job, if you want to improve your vocabulary and understanding of the upper middle class or upper class tastes, this book is a start. It has a lot of errors in it, but the previous posts do a good job of pointing them out.Frankly, there is no other book you can use as a starting point; in fact, if you want to develop some sophistication, you need to know what topics to concentrate on which is where this book comes in handy.
