If weaving were simple, you would not need this book.

This is a complete how-to book for the beginning weaver, and it is fully illustrated. You need to be prepared, as you cannot just get the shuttle out of your old kit bag. This is more than a how-to. It contains black and white photos of all kinds of looms and weaving equipment. It starts out with inexpensive items and methods, but goes all the way to floor looms that can reach into the thousands of dollars. I have one of the thousands of dollars type looms. It is good that you found this book, as good weaving books are hard to find (even in used book stores). I tested most of the Marthann Alexander examples, and they all worked.
