The New York Times bestselling craft guide that inspired the hit new TV show, At Home With Amy Sedaris It's often been said that ugly people craft and attractive people have sex. In Simple Times, Amy Sedaris sets the record straight and delivers a book that will forever change the world of crafting. Demonstrating that crafting is one of life's more pleasurable and constructive leisure activities, Sedaris shows that anyone with a couple of hours to kill and access to pipe cleaners can join the elite society of crafters. You will discover how to make popular crafts such as Pompom Ringworms and Seashell Toilet Seat Covers, all while avoiding the most common crafting accidents (sawdust fires, feather asphyxia, pine cone lodged in throat). You will cook your own edible crafts, from a Crafty Candle Salad to Sugar Skulls, with many more recipes and craft ideas that will inspire you to create your very own hastily constructed obscure d'arts. Praise for Simple Times "Amy Sedaris is a kookier, kitschier version of Martha Stewart...Simple Times is an ideal gift for the crafter who has crafted everything." - Associated Press "A wildly cheeky guide." -- InStyle "For anyone who's ever collected hats crocheted together...or simply for fans of Amy Sedaris and her idiosyncratic sense of humor." -- New York Times Book Review
Not Every Craft Book is Published with Children in Mind.

This is a great book full of fun crafts & funny rhetoric… for adults.
Pay no mind to the bad reviews that came before (and undoubtedly will come after) mine. A 5 second google search would let anyone know that not all crafting books are for children. Also, it’s Amy Sedaris. Google her too and you’d know immediately it’s not for children.
I’m willing to bet the “not for children” reviewers expect the rest of the world to censor itself just because they went and had kids; too lazy to realize it’s their responsibility to research & censor literature for their own children, and expect the rest of the world to cater to them.
I highly recommend this book for any adult out there who loves crafting & has the common sense to Google. Amy Sedaris’ humor is not for everyone, but I have always been a big fan. I liken this book to The Big Ass Book of Crafts, but funnier. This book is also, in case you can’t bring yourself to spend a few seconds Googling, not for children.
Who buys an Amy Sedaris book thinking it would be appropriate for kids??!

Always read descriptions before you purchase books! A simple Google search would tell you whether or not this was suitable for kids. Which, if you knew anything about this author's past works, you would already know the answer. 😆
I can't even donate this book.

Total disappointment, not appropriate for children, nothing innovative, mere trash.
