A pleasant blend of laughter & spirituality

I loved S.O.S, at places I laughed out loud! The content was relational with an easy, relaxed style. The author sent me on a spiritual yet humorous journey. It was a delight to be shown through "Gods" eyes how to look at life with a bit of laughter. I also enjoyed the scriptural references at the end of every chapter and how they related to every day life. This was a great read, an enjoyable book both in content and character.

Ordinary great stuff!

The author takes the simplest of things in life and in her personal experience and uses those to bring spiritual insight into the reader's life. Her stories could be anyone's story which make it so readable and funny. The best part is that she takes these experiences and reflects at the end of each chapter on a very simple spiritual truth. Good combination of both the spiritual and the humorous. I think this is a good way for us to relate to others and to God. God wants us to see Him in all aspects of our lives- the embarrassing, the humorous, the worrisome and the frightening and learn truth about Him through it all. Good read!!
