not at all what I expected.

This is a very small paperback book. It has a beautiful picture on the front, but that is the only one. The pictures inside of the book are black and white, small , and very grainy. Because it says simple on the cover, I thought that the book could better assist beginners in crochet to be able to make a sweater. The pages are so small that the instructions have to be spread over several pages, instead of just one or two. It is hard to keep the book open to the page needed. I would not buy this book.

This is not what I was expecting.

If you want this book for the pattern on the cover, it is not in this book. I was wanting a pattern for the granny square cardigan and this popped up. I bought the book and found the cover pattern not in this book. There are 5 patterns in the book.
