Simon Powell leaves rehab and returns to the Arkansas home where his family has lived for generations, determined to reclaim his art and build a new life. While Simon attends college and cares for his ailing mother, money becomes scarce.

His boyfriend, Thad, accepts an offer providing voice-overs for a shady film producer in Los Angeles. Dangerous men from Simon's past show up at the producer's studio. Before Simon can act, communication stops.

When a compromising videotape of Thad arrives at the family home, Simon is forced back into the Hollywood world that nearly destroyed him in order to save the man he loves.
