Great book, fun and educational

I looked a long time for a story to teach my daughter about Germany and finally found this one. It not only teaches German culture, but gives "New Words" on many pages (some English, some German) to help the reader understand. This book is probably not for most kids younger than 5 unless they have a very good attention span. There are a couple double page spreads with nothing but words. My almost 3 year old is focused, loves books, and is quite precocious. We're having to read the book in parts to keep her interest. Definitely a keeper. BTW - we just moved from Heidelberg Germany (after living there for 3 years). This one's a keeper. I highly recommend it and I'm picky when it comes to books.
